Alpha Omega Epsilon
An associate chapter chartered in 2006, the Sigma chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon was founded to give minority groups in STEM a sense of community and support within male-dominated fields. Their members work actively to empower others professionally and academically, as well as provide a sense of community where under-represented genders can grow as individuals and future leaders.
Alpha Omega Epsilon’s colors are Royal Blue, White, and Silver; their symbol is the Dolphin; their flower is the White Rose; and their philanthropies are Dress for Success and the FIRST Robotics.

“After studying abroad my first semester of college and coming on to Tech's campus, I had a really hard time making new friends out of my circle and I missed the comfort of female friendships. My friend that studied abroad with me had joined A.O.E. in the Spring she told me about the community she found here. I decided to join in the Fall, and I am so glad to have found so many like-minded friends here!”

“I decided to join A.O.E. because I wanted to branch out and meet a diverse group of people on campus. I wanted a community that had a social and professional mindset similar to mine, and I found that with A.O.E.! Everyone was so kind and welcoming at the first info night, and their upbeat and supportive energy cemented my decision to join!”

“I joined A.O.E. during the spring semester of my freshman year because I felt very isolated from others after my first semester at Tech. I definitely overworked myself a little bit during my first semester here, so I wanted to find a community of like-minded and supportive women who I could unwind from the stresses of school with and be myself around. I’m so glad that I decided to go through recruitment, because I have made some amazing friends, and everyone is so kind and supportive of everyone else!”
