“Inspiring Women To Realize Their Potential”
Alpha Xi Delta inspires women to realize their potential through sisterhood, leadership, and service.
As the first sorority founded at Georgia Tech, we have nearly 70 years of deep traditions, accomplishments, and a strong presence on campus. Our sisters actively promote an inclusive environment and support each other to balance academics, service, and social activities, giving our sisters an ideal, well-rounded college experience.
Alpha Xi Delta’s Kindly Hearts Initiative seeks to support children experiencing foster care or homelessness. Our chapter works with local organizations, such as Atlanta Angels and Atlanta’s Children Shelter, and our philanthropic efforts encompass everything from volunteering at shelters to packaging supplies to fundraising for relief campaigns.
Whether it’s scholarship or service, sisterhood or socials, each of our members has found a place where they can realize their potential and be their best selves. They have truly found a home in Alpha Xi Delta!

“Alpha Xi Delta has been a true home away from home. I had no idea what to expect from a sorority, but now I can't imagine what college would be like without this chapter! From the moment I stepped into Alpha Xi, I was welcomed by incredible women who embody so much. They're high-achieving, driven individuals with genuine care for their sisters. I have grown so much just by learning from my sisters. I know I can count on them for anything: spontaneous Jeni's runs, resume help, walks on the Beltline, or exploring cities in Europe. Thank you, Gamma Eta chapter, for giving me unbreakable bonds that will last long past graduation!”

“When I first entered rush, I was very nervous and overwhelmed by the possibility of picking the wrong place, especially because I had a sister in AXID that could influence my decision. Now in my second semester of freshman year, I have never been more sure of a decision. Joining Alpha Xi was, for me, equivalent to gaining a second home. The girls I have met and the experiences I have gained are irreplaceable and I will cherish them forever. I look forward to going to the house for meals and events because all my stress fades the second I begin talking and laughing with my sisters. I have met my best friends through AXID and can’t wait for the next three years with them. I’ve always looked up to my sister and wanted to thrive in college as she did. I have been able to do that because of all AXID has offered, whether that be eating yummy house meals with friends, dancing our hearts out at date nights, or just talking for hours; I know there are endless memories to be made!”

“As an architecture major, I was uncertain of how I might spend my free time coming into college. I worried that I wouldn’t be able to meet people and have interests outside of studio. Luckily, I saw very quickly that through Alpha Xi Delta, I could have an amazing outlet both socially and creatively. As banner chair, I love having my sisters come paint and chat with me while we prepare for upcoming events. It’s always a good time spending and hanging out with each other.”

“These things do we earnestly desire: A clear vision of life, that with gracious and kindly hearts we may share both joy and sorrow and bring into living reality the Sisterhood of women. An appreciation of real merit and worth, steadfastness of soul, that without bitterness or defeat we may encounter misfortune and with humility meet success. These things, O Lord, help us to instill within our hearts that we may grow in courage and graciousness and peace.”
